Required documents regarding Residence Permit and Municipal registration, the so-called Basisregistratie Personen (BRP)
Documents required for the Dutch Immigration Service (IND), Municipal registration and enrolment at TU Kampen:
- Copy of valid passport(s). Please make a clearly legible copy of the pages in your passport that contain your personal data and all pages containing a stamp. Click here for passport photo regulations.
- Legalized, recent Birth Certificate(s) – of adults and children.
Legalization by your national authorities, usually the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign affairs. Then the documents need to be legalized by the Dutch embassy. So you need at least 3 signatures and 3 legal stamps:
- of the officer who issued the document
- of the authority governing this person. In most cases this will be the Ministry of Foreign affairs
- of the Dutch embassy
The Dutch authorities will only accept documents in Dutch, English, French or German. If the document has been formulated in another language, then a sworn translator has to translate it. Translations must be legalized as well.
- Legalized, recent Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
Legalization by your national authorities, usually the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry or Foreign Affairs. Then the document must be legalized by the Dutch embassy. So you need at least 3 signatures and 3 stamps:

- or the authority governing this person. In most cases this will be the Ministry of Foreign affairs
