Prayer and Support for Ukraine

Our hearts and prayers are with the people of Ukraine that is going through a dark night. Without reason and against international law they have been attacked by Russian troops, their cities are bombed, citizens are fleeing. We pray for the many victims and their families, we pray that the aggressor will be stopped and we pray for peace, as soon as it might come.

We also pray for our brothers and sisters in faith. For the churches and the seminaries we are in contact with, especially the Reformed Seminary in Kiev, where alumni of the Theological University Kampen are working and some of our professors have given their classes. The Theological University is offering assistance if it is needed to support the Seminary, its students and the continuation of studies.

We pray that the people of Ukraine may experience that the Lord is a Mighty Fortress in times of trouble (Psalm 46) and that this Mighty God will keep you safe and guide you through this dark night (Psalm 91).
