4th Herman Bavinck Lecture - Prof. George Harinck

On May 28th prof. George Harinck will deliver the fourth Herman Bavinck Lecture. The title for his lecture will be:

Leading the Way or Lagging Behind: Neo-Calvinism in International Perspective

The lecture will start at 19:30 in the Aula of the Theological University in Kampen (Broederweg 15, 8261GT, Kampen).

Dr. George Harinck is Professor of History of Neo-Calvinism at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Professor of History of Protestantism at the Theological University in Kampen. He also serves as Director of the Archives and Documentation Center at Kampen Theological University. Harinck leads the recently founded Neo-Calvinism Research Institute at TU Kampen.

In the Herman Bavinck Lecture series scholars are invited who share Bavinck’s love for the Reformed tradition, are aware of the appeal of his vision of grace as a transforming force in both personal life and in society and culture, and in their scholarly endeavour reflect his deep and Catholic vision of the Christian faith. They are asked to address in their lecture key questions regarding the contribution which Reformed theology can make to church and society in a postmodern world.
