There are some good Dutch language courses on the internet. To prepare yourself for living in the Netherlands, you could take a look at this website, which caters for the Civic Integration Exam, and perhaps start following a language course for beginners, at the cost of approx. € 90 for a 120 hour course.
We want to emphasize that you do not need to speak or understand Dutch in order to communicate with your teacher, fellow students and other citizens in Kampen. Most Dutch people are able to speak or understand English.
We also wish to emphasize that it is not realistic to spend much time on learning Dutch during your studies. The programmes are quite intensive and will demand a lot of your time.
